The atmosphere that Mes Amis
French School is well rounded and supported in many ways, here
are some examples:
One, learning French vocabulary words with correct pronunciations
related to our daily lives through hands-on activities and visual
learning. Students receive one-on-one attention due to small classes.
The other, is learning the French culture of other French speaking
countries besides France in which diversity, awareness, understanding
and acceptance of other French cultures are taught. For instance,
which foods and music are important to their daily lives?
"Other countries speak and teach a second language at a very
young age, shouldn't we in the U.S.?" Start by taking French.
You will love and enjoy the experience.
About Rose Mingo
Rose Mingo, owner and teacher, came from the islands of Haiti where French and Creole are the official languages. She speaks four different languages: French, Creole, English and Spanish. She has been teaching for many years in different school districts in the metro area and local preschools. "C'est fantastique!" teaching French. "I believe that French can be learned as a second language in a fun and wonderful atmosphere".
In addition to Mes Amis French School, I’m currently teaching
for different schools districts and Montessori schools within
the Richfield, Sunrise International and Montessori metro areas.
I also enjoy running a summer camp at St. Croix Academy, located
in Stillwater, where all ages are welcome. “C’est
fantastique” teaching French!
Knowing another language opens up our minds and strengthens our
communication skills.
It is never too early or too late to learn French.
